Propane Wall Heaters | Bathroom Wall Heaters | Are heaters for Mobile Home

Are Propane wall heaters safe for mobile homes?

It all depends on what kind of heater you have. Some people have had great experiences using vented propane wall heaters. The vented propane wall heaters allow the air to escape whereas the unvented wall heaters will keep the moisture in the mobile home.

The other thing to take into consideration is how long you would keep the propane heater running. The moisture will only build up in the mobile home if you keep the propane heater running all the time. It is probably best to get a timer switch that will monitor the length of usage of the wall heater.

If you do have the heater on 24/7 make sure you take precautions and safe measurements by installing a CO detector and gas detector. You would rather be safe than sorry just in case something happens.

Carbon monoxide detectors are very important to keep in your house, mobile home and office. Any building that has gas running through it should have a Carbon monoxide detector. This detector can show early signs of gas leaks and avoid carbon monoxide poisoning.

The sad truth is that CO one of the causes of accidental poisoning deaths in America. People do not take enough precautions when installing any type of gas instruments.
Some CO detectors that you can get for your Propane Wall heater

One of the coolest things about the first alert CO alarm is that it has a backup battery to ensure the alarm goes off. If there is any power outage, the backup battery will kick in and work like a charm. The battery is a 9 volt battery that can be replaced when the levels are low for it.

Kidde Nighthawk Plug-In Carbon Monoxide Alarm with Battery Backup and Digital Display

This is perfect to use for the individual mobile homes as it is design for home use. It is very easy to install and plugs right into the power outlet. The alarm has distinct 4 sounds that it will emit once the level of CO is unsafe. The sound is very loud and audible throughout the house.

In one of the reviews, a customer had a new furnace installed. The installation was done incorrectly and had leaks. Were it not for the Kidde Night hawk, the family would have had severe health problems. Usually the detector will read 0 but if you constantly see a reading greater than 0 without the detector being near a furnace then you might have a leak.
